Phyllis R21/14

Phyllis is a small Netherland Dwarf cross red eyed white doe. She came from a small rescue in Gloucestershire in 2014 after having been found as a stray and handed in to a veterinary centre. She had had syphilis and so was unsuitable for rehoming. She lived with Cocoa and Biscuit in the barn at first but they had a rather tempestuous relationship and often had skirmishes but they also all snuggle up together nicely but eventually it went too far and we separated them and put Phyllis in with… Read more Phyllis R21/14

Ivy Baby R17/13

Ivy Baby is a small blue grey Netherland Dwarf cross doe. She was born in 2012. She came to us in 2013 after her owner’s other rabbit was killed by a fox as it was no longer safe to let her outside and she was rather destructive inside and did not get on with the other remaining rabbit. She now lives with Alvin and Fern in one of our enclosures.

Mayfly R17/10

Mayfly is a very fluffy black lionhead doe. She came to us in May 2010 when she was a year old because her owner was having problems and wasn’t looking after her. She was a dreadful matted mess and was thin and frightened. I had to cut the matts off and shave her bottom. She is still nervous of people but is happy living with Poplar and Birch in one of our sheds. She has become rather fat which I can’t do anything about as both Polar and Birch are… Read more Mayfly R17/10

Rose R104/09

Rose is a blue grey lionlop doe who was about two when she came to us in October 2009. She was  part of a group of 14 who were given to us because of her owners mental health trouble. The group included Old Bonnie, who of course wasn’t Old then. They were the last rabbits that we took in with the intention of rehoming. She had had a litter but the owner wouldn’t let her babies come to us as they were so pretty. I dread to think of the… Read more Rose R104/09

Myra R59/09

Myra was an English marked lionhead doe with a flaming temper. She came to us in June 2009, but it was not our first encounter with her. We rehomed a buck to live with her in 2008, and she bit the homechecker. Her owners moved and did not want to take her with them. Considering her temperament I am not surprised. When she got here she was bullying the little buck we had bonded to her so we separated them and found him a much nicer companion. Her we found… Read more Myra R59/09
